Easier To Kill.

Image
You traveled everywhere, I became your water.                                                  You wanted something, so I became your quarter.  You built walls, somehow between us,                   I knew, that but, still for you I again ignored her.     You broke me, I became the pieces of your shattered glass, When you left me, somehow I was glad, now that I was a queen instead of your pawn, I know you missed the girl I were, now that I buried her at dawn.                                                      -Rabani Dhingra

Hiding inside

Image
I am excited and I am crying, I am afraid and I am hiding, I am winning and I am sighing,  I don't know what is this tradition of not knowing what you feel,  not knowing what to say, or perhaps not knowing what to fear I am building a wall brick by brick of my fear. Perhaps I don't feel what I care, or I myself don't want to share.                                                         -Rabani Dhingra

Times of Our shoes.

Image
Our shoes tell our stories, where they have been, what have they done, how they have been treated,  Because no shoes can lie about the person who is wearing them, and we all can see shoes that overwhelm. .                                                                                                -Rabani Dhingra

SCAR

Image
I was lost in a village, now, I have a scar, Now I am a part of them away from the city far,  I climbed the hopes and their bars.                                        I left the stereotypes. Now I know I will survive, I have a lot inside,           I had a lot and, now they will realize, they don't have the right to characterize, I got nothing to generalize. I will fight for every person who will get stereotyped, I will make sure they will get liked, People may think I am psyched, but what do they know everyone, knows that they are disliked!                                                                                         ...

Chapters In A Book

Image
Life is an expectation to most of us. Life is not about days and nights, Life is about the people we meet  about the emotions we feel,                                                                about the things we react to,  about the things we express to each other, about the things, we miss a shot at. Life is all the good and bad chapters combined in a book. So life is not tomorrow, Life is now, so,  Relish it, Experience it, Laugh it, and grasp it! Live your life for the nights that you can't remember, with the people, you won't forget!                                                                             ...

Love

Image
Love is much more. Much more than pretending, than knowing, than admiring.  Love is believing, Believing that your partner got your back,  Believing in your decisions,  believing in you.  Its the person who made you grew, Made you all-new, Made all your wishes come true. And yet, it's the person who you met all out of the blue. Love is everything and more, It changes you the way you were before.                                                                        -Rabani Dhingra

A Series Of Unfortunate Events!

Image
The day ends as the sun descends,                                                          the leaves shred as the autumn begins, our lives quit when times come to an end,                                   our bad days begin as we lose faith, We lose the future when we resign, we start to feel lonely when we think dark, the river turns black as we let it be, we become racists when we begin to think small. This life is not just,  give and take, express or impress, love or war, live or die, it's ' A Series Of Unfortunate Events '.  And apparently, we are the authors!                                                 ...

Rotten Thoughts.

Image
She was the devil herself Guilt in her eyes Sadness in her heart Aggression in her actions Anxiety in her blood Pain in her chest A jumble of unspoken words in her brain. And loneliness in her soul. Just because she had shred thousand skins to become a person she is today. Perhaps it was the fault in her stars, the thoughts in her brain, the karma she experienced or just as she was created. Although for this life she was a smiling face, broken soul.                                                                                                      -   Rabani Dhingra

Dating after Death.

Image
As long ago as 1967 it was the proper thing to be born. In Bengal, India in the small streets of the stereotypical towns once lived a stunning lady or shall I say a girl. She was flawless, bold, impatient, and keen. She was Zoya who was sent off to a random rich man in her teenage.  She married a handsome man, but couldn't love him. He was rich, but she couldn't love him. Now, what could be the story behind this one. Well, of course, it's another man. The man that she met in her school.  Her first love.  She liked him as nobody did or anybody could. She wanted to express every bit of her to him. She was ready with the paper in her hand with his phone number, She was ready with the words, She was ready with the emotions. But she couldn't. Perhaps she was ready to express herself but her heart, unfortunately, wasn't.  But as we all are known time flies so it did. As soon as she came into her teens she was sent off to start a new chapter of her life and leave the...

Unwanted Reflection.

Image
When you peer at the water at your reflection, That reflection doesn't say much. That reflection doesn't show the pain behind that smile, There are no eyes that haven't cried, there is no soul which hasn't tried, no face that hasn't screamed, no heart which hasn't redeemed. And yet we try to be perfect. The reflection is not believable to believe in but what is, it's your within.   -Rabani Dhingra

Correction In Your Thinking.

Image
Be human enough to make mistakes, Be human enough to accept them, Be human enough to work on them. Be human enough to correct them. Be human enough not to dread the future. Be human enough, to be well, enough. Be human but not an overthinker, don't clutter your mind by imagining other versions of yourself. There is always a god in a parallel universe which have already decided for you perhaps. So why compare yourself to others when you have so many reasons to smile. So chin up because there are many miles!                                                                                                       -Rabani Dhingra
